The Jean Lumb Awards recognize outstanding high school students of Chinese heritage from across Canada (grades 9-12) who have achieved excellence in Academics, the Arts, Athletics, Community Services, Defence of the Environment, Dignity of Life, Innovation, and Leadership. Each award is valued at $1,000.
The Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association (NACCA) are once again pleased to present their 2022 Scholarship awards for Afro-Canadian (Black racialized) students throughout York Region who will be entering their first year of full time studies at a post-secondary institution.
Awardees will be those that demonstrate academic excellence and stellar community involvement.
