Our local Knights of Columbus (St. Patrick’s Parish Council 7689) is sponsoring its annual 2021 Deacon Vern Scholarship.
Deacon Vern Bechard served the parish of St. Patrick faithfully for over thirty five years and this scholarship is in honour of him. The scholarship is open to graduating students of St. Brother Andre Catholic High School and Father McGivney Catholic Academy and has a value of $1000. This year’s topic or theme is – “How are you going to use your God-given talents?”, bearing in mind St. Patrick’s parish mission and vision of walking God’s talk.
The essay must be submitted/delivered by Monday June 7th, 2021 to the attention and care of St. Patrick’s Council #7689 at the St. Patrick Church office on Highway 7 anytime during office hours.
