The York Regional Police in partnership with its Police Community Advisory Council is hosting their Third Annual Achievement Awards to recognize students who have promoted Human Rights and Social justice within their school and community.
The Award recipients will be recognized at the York Regional Police International Human Rights Day Event on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
12 students living in York Region or attending a secondary school in York Region will be awarded $500 each for their post-secondary education.
